Important Message from Blair Family Dentistry

We at Blair Family Dentistry are monitoring the situation regarding the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, to ensure the safety of our patients and team members.

We continue to closely adhere to the CDC's guidelines for sterilizing instruments and sanitizing surfaces.  Additionally, we are taking extra precautions by sanitizing hard surfaces, such as counter tops and door handles, throughout our office several times a day.

The US Center for Disease Control recommends the following precautionary measures to reduce risk:

·         Wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds

·         Avoid contact with people who are sick

·         Cover coughs and sneezes

·         Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth

·         Stay home if you are sick (except to get medical care)

In order to ensure the health and safety of our patients, families and team, we ask that if you are ill, please stay home and reschedule your appointment to a time when you are symptom free. You will not be penalized for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment if you are ill. In addition, we ask that if any children or other family members in your household are sick to please not bring them into the office reception area where other patients/team members may be exposed. Anyone with a heavy cough and cold, vomiting, and/or fever should stay home. You should be fever free, without the use of fever reducing medication, for at least 24 hours before coming into the office. We encourage patients/parents to seek medical attention from your primary care physician should you have a fever, cough and/or shortness of breath.

*If you have travelled outside of the US within the last 14 days, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. *

As we continue to monitor developments surrounding the coronavirus, we will communicate any additional steps necessary to protect the health of all of our patients, families and team members. To find out more, please visit the Center for Disease Control's website

Thank you,

 Blair Family Dentistry
